Tickets and money
Can I issue receipts to attendees?
Answer
Yes. Register your issuer details in Receipt settings and turn it on, and a PDF is attached to each purchase confirmation email. Add a Japanese invoice registration number and it is issued as a qualified invoice.
Details
- Receipts are issued in the host's name. Turning it on requires all five fields: issuer name, postal code, address, contact email and phone number.
- Adding a Japanese qualified invoice registration number changes what is issued: the document becomes a qualified invoice, printing the registration number, the per-rate tax breakdown and the consumption tax included. The format is “T” followed by 13 digits.
- Without a registration number, a plain receipt is issued instead.
- The document carries the line items (item, quantity, unit price, discount, amount) along with the bill-to name, the issuer and their contact details. It is issued electronically, so no revenue stamp is required.
- i'm in's service fee is collected by i'm in, so it is not part of the amount received in the host's name. The full charged amount is printed separately for reference.
- Documents are issued for tickets bought after you turn the setting on. One per payment, and the amounts reflect what was actually paid, including any coupon discount.
- Buyers can set the name it is made out to at checkout. Left blank it uses their own name, and it cannot be changed afterwards.
- Community events use the Receipt settings in the community's management screen, which is separate from your settings as an individual host.
Turn on receipts and qualified invoices
- Open your payout settings (Stripe connection).
- Open “Receipt settings”.
- Enter the issuer name, postal code, address, email and phone number.
- To issue qualified invoices, enter your registration number (T plus 13 digits).
- Turn issuing on and save.
